buggery n. 鸡(或兽)奸 也称sodomy，指男子之间或男子与女子之间通过肛门性交的行为；也包括兽奸〔bestiality〕，指同牲畜兽类发生性交行为，男女都可犯这种罪。起初，如果行为双方均达法定责任年龄并出于自愿发生鸡奸行为的，双方都有罪。在英国，1967年以后，男子之间自愿鸡奸且双方都已年满21岁，鸡奸行为在私下进行，则双方都不构成犯罪，但在其他情况下，仍认为是一种犯罪。在美国，《模范刑法典》〔Model Penal Code〕也有类似的规定：法律只对以下3种行为处罚：１强迫他人实施此种行为的；２对未成年人实施此种行为的；３在公共场所实施此种行为的。(→sodomy；bestiality)
