subreptio (s[schwa]b-rep-shee-oh), n. [Latin “surreptitious removal”] Roman law. 1. Theft. 2. The obtaining of a grant from the emperor under false pretenses. — Also termed (in French law) subreption. Pl. subreptiones (s[ schwa]b-rep-shee-oh-neez).
subreption n. (1)(教会法)隐瞒真相 指通过隐瞒事实真相而获取特权、施赠等。 (2)〈法〉虚报事实 指以提供与事实相反情况的欺诈手法而获取赦免、职位或赠与的行为。
obreption (ob-rep-sh[schwa]n). The fraudulent obtaining of a gift or dispensation, esp. from a sovereign or ecclesiastical authority. Cf. SUBREPTIO.
