condominium 〈拉〉(罗马法) (1)共有 指由数人共享一物的所有权。古罗马人认为各共有人对共有物享有一定份额的权利，而不是一定份额之物，乃各共有人对整个共有物都享有所有权，只是在行使时不得侵害其他人的权益，而应限于他自己份额范围内。因此一共有人不行使其权利时，他共有人即可行使之。一共有人丧失其共有权或死亡而无人继承时，他共有人的权利即因而增加扩大。共有制度起源于古罗马「家产共有」的观念，其后陆续因法律规定、司法裁判、遗嘱协议和意外事件等而产生。 (2)公寓楼中的一套公寓房 业主有单独所有权，并对楼中公共设施、场地有共同所有权， 复数为condominiums。 (3)(两国以上的)共同主权；共同政权 复数为condominia。 (4)共管领土 如1899-1955年英国和埃及政府对苏丹的共管， 复数为condominia。
