blue law 〈美〉蓝色法 对调整或禁止在星期日进行商业活动的制定法的总称,起源于殖民地新英格兰时期。在以前这种制定法很普遍,自20世纪80年代以后则大为减少,因为有许多法院以蓝色法来源于宗教(星期日为基督教的安息日)为由而确认其为无效。现在如果这种法律是为非宗教目的而制定的(例如确认星期日为工人休息日),则往往要经过合宪性的审查。也称为星期日法〔Sunday law〕,星期日歇业法〔Sunday-closing law〕,安息日法〔Sabbath law〕,主日法〔Lord’s Day Act〕。
