Hilary Rules

Hilary Rules 〈英〉希拉里规则;春季开庭期规则 指英国于1834年在春季开庭期所确立的适用于高级法院的诉答和程序的一系列规则的总称,目的在于简化原先严格的诉答要求,例如限制格式诉讼中概括否认答辩的范围,要求被告肯定性地确立其主张的事项而非简单地否认对义务的违反或有违法行为等。但规则实施后却出乎意料地使严格诉答要求扩大到了一些新的法律领域,对这些规则又产生了广泛的不满,由此导致了1873-1875年《司法组织法》〔Judicature Acts〕在诉答制度上放松限制。
