Reform Act

Reform Act 〈英〉《改革法》 1832年《人民代表法》〔Representation of the People Act〕的通称，该法废除「腐败选区」〔rotten boroughs〕，增加郡的代表名额，并对许多原来无代表的城镇给予代表名额。「改革法」一语有时也指后来把选举权扩展到城镇劳动者的1867年《人民代表法》、把选举权扩展到农业劳动者的1884年《人民代表法》以及将选举权扩展到妇女的1918年《人民代表法》。(→Representation of the People Acts)
