Carriers Act 〈英〉《承运人法》 1830年颁布，对普通法规则特别是对陆地货物运输中承运人责任的严格规则作了修订和限制。普通法规则要求，公共承运人要对其保管货物的灭失、损害负责，除非能证明存在与之相反的特别合同。1830年《承运人法》的主要规定有：１陆运承运人对具有特殊价值的货物(如金钱、珠宝、图画等)的灭失或损害的责任限额为不超过10英镑，除非这些货物的价值在交付承运时已经申报；２承运人并可在收货处贴出通知，将价值超过10英镑的上述货物的运费提高，任何将此类物品交付承运的人均受其约束。1830年《承运人法》于1865年修订。
