court of chivalry 〈英〉骑士法庭;荣誉法庭 又称军事法庭〔court military〕,属非存卷法庭,由皇家侍卫官〔Lord High Constable〕和王室典礼官〔Earl Marshal of England〕主持审理,故也称皇家侍卫官和王室典礼官亲审法庭〔court of Constable and Marshal〕。该法庭对纹章或交战文书、纹章佩饰及席次等问题具有民事和刑事管辖权。由王室典礼官单独审理时,一般是以荣誉法庭〔court of honour〕的形式出现。该法庭在被废弃很久以后又于1955年恢复,用以受理城市法人〔city corporation〕对他人盗用自己徽章的控诉。
