impartial jury 公正的陪审团 指无偏见的、公平的、正直的、不偏袒任何一方当事人的、与案件结果没有利害关系的、不对案件的是非曲直预先作出判断的陪审团,他们只根据在审判过程中提出的合法的、可被采纳的证据来作出裁断。美国宪法第六条修正案即规定刑事被告人有权受到由公正的陪审团进行的公正审判。
