vadium vivum 〈拉〉活质 英文含义即为「living pledge」。当某人向他人借款，并将某一地产授予他人，直到以该地产的租金或收益清偿全部借款本息。在借款本息全部清偿之时，所授予地产即归于无效。因为在这种担保方式中，对于设质人而言，无论金钱还是土地均未丧失，且以设质人之土地收益清偿债务，故而得名。亦作「vivum vadium」；「vif-gage」。 (→vadium)
