harrow (har-oh or h[schwa]-roh), n. [fr. Old French haro] Hist. In Norman and early English law, an outcry (or hue and cry) after felons and malefactors. — Also termed haro. See HUE AND CRY. Cf. CLAMEUR DE HARO.
