out-of-hospital do-not-resuscitate order. A do-not-resuscitate order, executed by a person who has been diagnosed by a physician as having a terminal condition, directing healthcare professionals to withhold certain life-sustaining treatments when acting outside a hospital or similar facility. — Abbr.
