absconding debtor 潜逃债务人；在逃债务人 指为逃避偿还债务而潜逃的债务人。包括为阻挠债权人的正当请求而故意隐藏自己或者逃离债权人可以对其提起诉讼的地方。这种行为曾被作为「破产行为」〔act of bankruptcy〕。
