admonitio trina (ad-m[schwa]-nish-ee-oh trI-n[schwa]), n. [Law Latin “triple warning”] Hist. A threefold warning advising a defendant charged with a capital crime that refusal to answer questions about the offense would in itself be considered a capital crime punishable by death.
