antapocha

antapocha (ant-ap-[schwa]-k[schwa]). [Latin “counter-receipt”] Roman & civil law. A counterpart to a receipt (i.e., an apocha), signed by the debtor and delivered to the creditor as proof of payment. Cf. APOCHA.
