1. One of two or more participants in a criminal offense who either perpetrate the crime or aid a person who does so. [Cases: Criminal Law 59. C.J.S. Criminal Law §§ 127, 998.]

2. One of two or more persons who have appointed an agent whom they both have the right to control.
