General Synod of the Church of England
〈英〉英格兰国教公会议 1970年对「英格兰国教全国大会」〔National Assembly of the Church of England or the Church Assembly〕更名和重组而建立的机构，由坎特伯雷和约克两郡的教牧人员代表会议〔convocation〕合并而成的一个主教院〔House of Bishops〕即上院，一个教士院〔House of Clergy〕即下院，以及依据代表法则选举产生的俗人院〔House of Laity〕组成。它一年至少开两次会，研究与英格兰国教会有关的事务并为此制定法规。这些法规是通过《公会议法》〔Acts of Synod〕、命令或规则制定的，以及原来由教牧人员代表会议和议会通过的教会法规。
