1. Bad reputation; ill-fame.

2. Loss of honor as a citizen.

infamia facti (in-fay-mee-[schwa] fak-tI). Infamy in fact, though not yet judicially proved.

infamia juris (in-fay-mee-[schwa] joor-is). Infamy established by judicial verdict.
