infitiatio (in-fish-ee-ay-shee-oh), n. [Latin] Roman law. The denial of a debt or liability; the denial of a plaintiff’s allegation. — Also spelled inficiatio. Pl. infitationes (in-fish-ee-ay-shee-oh-neez).
