jactitation of marriage 〈英〉(教会法)婚姻诈欺 诈称为他人之夫或妻，从而令他们二人的婚姻关系〔matrimony〕获得承认。以往，教会法院会要求诈称人举出证据，否则判处他对此保持永久缄默〔perpetual silence〕及支付诉讼费用〔costs〕；但自从1766年婚姻法改革之后，法定婚姻之形式已有相当之确定性，可避免个人单凭诈称已婚而致使他人受损，故此相关的司法救济已很少被采用。
