lagan (lag-[schwa]n), n.

1. Goods that are abandoned at sea but attached to a buoy so that they may be recovered. — Also termed lagend; lagon; ligan; ligen; logan. Cf. FLOTSAM; JETSAM; WAVESON.

2. Archaic. Wreckage or cargo lying on the seabed.
