1. The pleading form of a general denial in a detinue action for recovery of goods detained by the defendant. • A non detinet denies both the detention and the plaintiff’s right of possession or property in the goods claimed. See DETINUE. [Cases: Detinue 17. C.J.S. Detinue §§ 30–31.]
