non omittas propter liberatem (non [schwa]-mit-[schwa]s prop-t[schwa]r lib-[schwa]-ray-t[schwa]m). [Latin “do not omit because of any liberty”] Hist. A clause, usu. contained in writs of execution, directing the sheriff to execute the writ regardless of whether the sheriff had been granted the requisite special authority from a franchise (liberty) or district.
