nondiverse

nondiverse, adj.

1. Of or relating to similar types (the attorney’s practice is nondiverse: she handles only criminal matters).

2. (Of a person or entity) having the same citizenship as the party or parties on the other side of a lawsuit (the parties are nondiverse because both plaintiff and defendant are California citizens). See diversity jurisdiction under JURISDICTION. [Cases: Federal Courts 286. 1.]
