nundinae (n[schwa]n-d[schwa]-nee), n. [fr. Latin novem “nine” + dies “day”]

1. Roman law. A fair or market.

2. Roman law. The period between two consecutive markets (usu. eight days), including the market days. • This period was often fixed for the payment of debts.
