Office of Enrollment and Discipline. Patents. The division of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office charged with licensing patent attorneys and patent agents, and with hearing complaints involving their misconduct. • The Office is authorized to sanction practitioners, and to suspend or disbar them from practice before the PTO.
