stint n. 〈英〉限额；定额；定量；份额 用于指公共牧地限额放牧权〔stinted right of common of pasture〕，即公共牧地的每一成员允许在该牧地上放养的牲畜数量，也可用放牧时间进行定量。布莱克斯通〔Blackstone〕尝谓：未经分配的公共牧地放牧权被称为「公共而无限额」〔common without stint〕是错误的。
