belligerency n. (国际法) (1)交战状态 指不论是否宣战或交战国是否因诉诸侵略战争违反国际法而事实上进行战争的状态。 (2)交战地位 指叛乱者被承认具有交战团体的地位从而使其作战行为合法化，并由此承受国际法所确定的作为交战团体的权利义务；亦指一国因对他国从事战争而依战争法所具有的国际地位。(→belligerent; recognition of belligerency)
