bid n. (1)要约；出价 指买方向卖方提出的价格，尤其是拍卖或招标中投标人报出的价格。卖方的要约为「offer」；买方的要约为「bid」。 (2)投标 指人们就按特定价格履行工程合同、劳动合同或提供原材料及货物合同所发出的要约。公共合同〔public contract〕一般就从所提出的、相互竞争的多个报价中选择中标者。
