bishop’s court 〈英〉主教法院 一种教会法院,设于每一教区的主教座堂内,法官为主教司法官〔bishop’s chancellor〕,依据教会法中的民事部分〔civil canon law〕裁决案件。如果教区很大,法官还可以任命自己的代理主教〔commissary〕到比较偏远的地区去主持主教教区法院〔consistory court〕,依据法官的任命权限处理事务。
