booty n. (1)战利品；缴获物 在国际法上，指在陆战中从敌方缴获的物品。在英国，以前私人财产可被缴获作为战利品，但现在只有军用武器、装备、物资和储备可被视为战利品。战利品归国王所有，也可由国王授予缴获战利品的部队所有。位于海上的私人财产也可以被缴获，但是否为合法的战利品须由捕获法院〔prize court〕判定。 (2)赃物；掠夺物
