deliberation n. (1)仔细考虑；细想；研究；深思熟虑 (2)〈美〉评议；审议；商议 陪审员在陪审员室〔jury room〕中，根据庭审所获证据，秘密评议，对被告人作出裁断。这种审议只有在法定陪审员全部参加的情况下才能进行。 (3)〈美〉蓄谋；预谋；策划 一级谋杀罪的构成要件之一，区别于二级谋杀罪，指行为人在进行犯罪活动前处于冷静的状态，对犯罪活动进行理智的思考和计划。
