mandatory injunction

An injunction that orders an affirmative act or mandates a specified course of conduct. — Also termed affirmative injunction. Cf. prohibitory injunction. [Cases: Injunction 5, 133. C.J.S. Injunctions §§ 3, 8–9, 81.]
