notice of trial 开庭通知 在诉讼中，双方当事人之间的争点〔issue〕确定之后，一方给予另一方的通知，表明他意图在法院下一次开庭时将案件提交法庭审判。在英国高等法院的民事诉讼中，原告应当依照法院的命令，在指定期间内申请登记开庭的日期，否则被告可自行申请登记或申请法院将诉讼驳回。以前曾一度要求一方当事人在登记了开庭日期后应于24小时内将所登记的开庭日期通知参加诉讼的其他各方，现在此通知已非属必要。
