reclamation n. (1)开垦 指以沼泽排水、沙漠灌溉、森林再植等方法，将无经济价值的土地改造成有较高经济价值的土地。 (2)收回；取回 指要求并取回被他人占有的财产，或取回曾放弃、丢失或遗忘的财产；也指在破产程序中，真正的所有权人从破产财产管理人处取回其财产。 (3)更正；回复 银行业用语，指因票据在清算所〔clearing house〕发生记录错误时，将该票据予以更正或回复。 (4)先占 例如对野生动物通过占有而取得。
