wainage

wainage (way-nij), n. Hist.

1. The plow, team, and other implements used by a person (esp. a villein) to cultivate the soil; instruments of husbandry.

2. Cultivated land or the profits from it. — Also termed wainagium; waynagium (way-nay-jee-[schwa]m); (in sense 2) gainage.
