plebiscitum

plebiscitum (pleb-[schwa]-sI-t[schwa]m), n. [Latin] Roman law. An enactment passed at the request of a tribune by the assembly of the common people (the concilium plebis). Pl. plebiscita. See CONCILIUM PLEBIS.
