jus liberorum

jus liberorum (j[schwa]s lib-[schwa]-ror-[schwa]m). [Latin “right of children”] Roman law. A privilege conferred on a parent who has several children; esp., the immunity from compulsory guardianship (tutela) given to a woman with three or more children. — Also termed jus trium liberorum.
