jus personarum

jus personarum (j[schwa]s p[schwa]r-s[schwa]-nair-[schwa]m), n. [Latin “law of persons”] Civil law. The law governing the rights of persons having special relations with one another (such as parents and children or guardians and wards) or having limited rights (such as aliens or incompetent persons).
