Queen’s Counsel 〈英〉皇家大律师；王室法律顾问；御用大律师 英联邦各国出庭律师的高级职称，始于16世纪的英格兰，原为王室聘请的一批法律顾问，地位次于高级律师〔serjeant〕，为总检察长的助理。现为才能突出、经验丰富的出庭律师的一项荣誉称号，经御前大臣推荐，由女王授予，其地位高于无此称号的出庭律师。他们穿丝制法袍〔silk gowns〕，在最高法院出庭时坐在围栏以里〔within the bar〕。作为王室的助手，皇家大律师以前非经特许，不得与王室对抗(例如为刑事被告人辩护)。此项限制已在1920年取消。
