政府测量

governmental survey 〈美〉政府测量 即政府对公有土地〔public domain〕进行的测量，有时亦称为国会测量〔Congressional Survey〕。依此测量，将土地规划为township(6英里见方)、section(1平方英里，相当于640英亩)、quarter section(1/4平方英里，相当于160英亩)和quarter of quarter section(40英亩)几个部分。
