act of the law 法律的实施 指根据某一规则或法律本身而非相关当事人的意图或同意所引起的权利产生、转让或消灭。例如，当某人完成某一着作时，法律即赋予其版权；如果某人被宣告破产，则其资产将转让他人；若经过一段较长时间，某人的权利可由时效届满而终止。因此，它是法律本身的实施，而与当事人的意思表示无关，从而与法律行为〔act in the law〕相区别。 (→act in the law)
