approvement n. (1)(英格兰古法)揭发同案犯 指在刑事诉讼中允许被控犯有叛国罪或重罪者揭发同案犯。被告人应在作出答辩之前进行揭发。如被揭发者被判刑，自己的罪行可望得到免除；否则将被立即绞死。 (2)〈英〉改善；改良(共用地)；部分圈占(共用地)；(因改良土地所获的)收益 指领主把共用地的一部分改为个人占有地。现需经政府同意方可占用。 (→approvement of waste)
