articles of the eyre 〈英〉总巡回审问条目在13-14世纪，总巡回审法官巡视某一郡时进行调查和进行审问时所依据的国王发给他的审问提纲。条目涉及到行政管理的全部领域。其目的是为了从咨审团提供的材料中找到惩处某人或责令某人向国王交纳罚金的依据。当时，每一郡由12个男子组成宣誓咨审团负责回答法官的调查、讯问，向法官报告上一次巡回审之后本地违法、犯罪的情况，法官将根据咨审团的指控对嫌疑人判处罚金或其它刑罚；当该咨审团作出错误控诉时，他们将被判处刑罚。 (→eyre)
