Assizes de Jerusalem ([schwa]-sIz-[schwa]z d[schwa] j[schwa]-roo-s[ schwa]-l[schwa]m). A code of feudal law intended to serve as the law of the lands conquered by the Crusaders. • The code was prepared in the 12th century after the 1099 conquest of Jerusalem.
