attornment n. (英格兰古法)承认新领主的同意或协议；对新领主的认可 在土地转让中，新的领主若通过两种期待权——回复地产权〔reversion〕或剩余地产权〔remainder〕获得地产，则该相应先行地产的保有人并不自动成为新领主的土地保有人，除非通过该土地保有人的同意，这种同意就被称为attornment。这种同意可以是明示的，也可以依法律推定。1709年后这种期待地产权的转让不再需要土地保有人的同意来实现。
