bounty n. (1)赠与物 (2)奖金；奖赏；津贴 指由他人，尤其是政府所提供或给予的一种额外利益，以鼓励其从事某些活动。例如为鼓励应征入伍而对军人所发的津贴。它与赏金〔reward〕有所不同，其可以由任何完成指定行为的人所得，例如因杀死危险动物而给予奖金；而赏金则针对只可以实施一次的行为，只能由实施该行为的一人或与其合作之人获得，余者则不能获得，例如追捕逃犯而得的赏金。(→reward)
