chantry n. 英〉小教堂〔cantaria〕 指供祭司或牧师为捐赠人或捐赠人所指定的人的灵魂作弥撒或其它宗教事务，由捐赠人赠与其土地或每年给予捐款的小教堂。于1545年和1547年被取消，其土地归英王所有。
