clean-hands doctrine 净手原则;清白原则 衡平法上的一项原则,指如果一方当事人的行为违背了衡平法原则(如善意原则〔good faith〕),则该当事人即不能在衡平法院寻求衡平法上的救济或者主张衡平法上的辩护理由。对该原则,衡平法上有一句谚语:「He who seeks equity must come into court with clean hands.」即在衡平法院提起诉讼者须清白无瑕。也称作unclean-hands doctrine。
