double indemnity 双倍赔偿(补偿) 泛指在权利人由于特定原因或情况而遭受损失时，由义务人按权利人基础利益的双倍进行赔偿。尤指在人身保险合同中规定被保险人意外死亡时，由保险人按保险单面额进行双倍补偿。
